You know, you know that I told you the truth

No lies, no need to dispose of the proof

I wish, I wish I had secrets to keep

I shout, I shouted them out in my sleep

Grace maybe gone but passion survives

This Brave New World is desperate to hide

'The Nature Of Things' keep me up every night

I'm trying to run with my laces untied

The signs, the signs are pointing both ways

I walk, I've walked in a circle for days

The traps, the traps are so carefully placed

I fall, I fall into a mirrored landscape

Joy maybe gone but solice arrives

In 'The Letters Of A Young Poet' I confide

I searched for the clues in the dream dripping sky

Just tell me again that it'll all be alright

I'm floating around like an old satellite

Then tumbling to earth in a flame of desire

I land in the sea and the storm is my wife

I swim to the shores of my lost paradise

  1. This is brilliant. His lyrics penetrate deeper than the mindless, surface level of that so many artists approach.
